Asus has officially added two more Eee PC branded netbooks in the available category. The ASUS Eee PC 1015B and ASUS Eee PC 1215B netbook that was first spotted back in CES 2011 is now available for pre-order. They are still technically listed as pre-order items. But on the positive side, the expected ship date is relatively close — April 1st.
Sony has announced their new Super 35 CMOS sensor video camera, the NEX-FS100. The NEX-FS100 was seen in last November when it was still in development as part of its NXCAM line. The camera shares the same sensor as the Sony PMW-F3 in Super 35mm format, which is 13.3 x 23.6 mm (0.52 x 0.93 inch) in size. Its Exmor Super 35 CMOS Sensor can shoot 1080p content (@60fps) and suitable for shooting music videos, commercials, and action scenes.
The Fuji XP30, rugged cameras introduced at CES 2011,has finally reached British shores. The FinePix XP30 is waterproof, shockproof, dustproof, and freezeproof, and has shock protection in addition to the ability to snap photographs. The camera also features GPS Geo-Tagging which not only tell you where you are in the world, but it also offers additional functions that are essential for outdoor shooting. Locations can be displayed either as longitude and latitude or by place name. The FinePix XP30 has an embedded list featuring approximately half a million places of interest across the globe.
Asus has just introduced K53 series laptop computers which consits of three models under K53 family — the K53E, K53SJ, and K53SV. Each model is made based on high quality aluminum textures with port ergonomic dust-repellent chicklet keyboard and also supported by Asus’ exclusive IceCool Technology which can make the palm rest stay cool from the component-heat.

Today, at CTIA Samsung has reintroduced its Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablet, which was previously announced during CES 2011. This new version, along with the Tab 8.9, claim to be the “world’s thinnest tablets” at just 8.6 millimeters thin. By comparison, the iPad 2 is just a hair thicker at 8.8 millimeters. It also has a huge battery life of about 6800 mAh, which is good for a whopping 10 hours worth of use.
Eurotech, a leading supplier of embedded technologies, products, and systems, has just informed the launch of the Zypad WL1500 series of wearable computers. The Zypad WL11x features a 3.5 inch, 320 x 240 pixel color TFT display with a resistive touch panel, plus an ambient light sensor that adjust the backlight. The Zypad WL1500 is designed to worn on your wrist like a watch. Its hot swappable battery provides enough juice for up to 8-hour of operation time.

Sceptre, the company well known for LCD televisions and computer monitors, today announced the launch of the Sceptre Luna Handheld Projector and MP3 Player. Unlike other more bulky portable projectors, the Luna measures up at a miniscule 3.32” x 1.74” x 0.8”. Small in size, the Luna packs all the features expected in a projector plus more, also doubling as a personal MP3 player. It has support for AVI, MOV, MPEG, JPEG, BMP, MP3 and WMA files and is able to project a 640×480 resolution image or video between 5” to 50” diagonally onto a surface.
Toshiba today announced the 14-inch USB-powered Mobile LCD Monitor. Toshiba’s Mobile Monitor is far more portable than the Monitor2Go thanks to its relatively low weight at 1.27kg (2.8lbs) compared to 1.81kg (4lb) for the Monitor2Go. The monitor is ideal for adding an additional screen to any Windows-based laptop computer at work, school, home or anywhere one uses a laptop. According to Toshiba, they really won’t feel the difference between this external LCD monitor and their Toshiba notebook’s screen, since the two are actually almost identical, as far as their technical specifications are concerned.
Garmin Nuvi 2575 HD GPS Already Enter FCC. Garmin’s nuvi 2575 GPS unit made an appearance on the FCC today. The new GPS is called the Nuvi 2575. It spotted with an analog TV antenna which has capability as your mobile TV and also supported by TMC FM traffic data with real-time traffic updates as well as an optional Driving Recorder, Video can be recorded in high (1280×720) and medium (640×480) quality settings, and can be played back on the nuvi 2575 or exported.
