New Sony NEX-C3 and A35 announced

Posted by | Last Updated : 348 days ago

Sony, has just unveiled its latest Sony Alpha NEX-C3 and Sony Alpha SLT-A35 cameras. Both models pack a 16.2 megapixel Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor and are set for an August release. The NEX-C3 is the latest addition to Sony’s popular NEX-3 and NEX-5 mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras (ILC).  The NEX-C3 features a 16.2 MP sensor, a smaller footprint relative to its big brother, the NEX-5 and a 3 inch LCD screen. The power switch of the NEX-C3 is now on the 2 o’clock to 3 o’clock position instead of the 6 o’clock position of the NEX-3. This will make it harder to accidentally turn the switch when the camera is inside your pocket or a bag. The whole thing weighs 225, which Sony reckons is a roughly 6-percent reduction on the NEX-3, while the battery life is extended by 20-percent to around 400 shots on a full charge.
