According to a recent report by Reuters, Samsung and Google are in talks about producing Samung TVs with Google TV built in, and the company has said that we will see the first device at an event next year. It seems the first details on Samsung’s Exynos Quad-core System-on-Chip (SoC) have trickled out. Samsung had recently revealed the Exynos 4212, a dual core ARM Cortex-A9 processor clocking at 1.5GHz; and now code from the Kernel Git page seems to confirm the existence of a certain Exynos 4412 SoC which is said to be a quad-core one. This is still the ARM Cortex A9 and even 1.5 GHz, but this time he has four hearts. It is also reported that the Galaxy S III will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GB of RAM and a 4.6 inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display witth a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

LG is going to launch its first Google TV-powered panel at CES in January. According to a recent report by Bloomberg, claims that LG plans to introduce a new television at the Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas in early January 2012. LG is the second largest manufacturer of TVs in the world (after Samsung), and would be the third manufacturer to adopt Google’s platform. LG was tipped to demonstrate one or more Google TV products back in January, at CES 2010, but the company reportedly froze production plans at Google’s own request. The search giant, so leaks suggested at the time, was looking to refine its smart TV experience based on poor feedback from reviewers and users.
