Samsung has released an update to its NX100 mirrorless camera. Announced at the company’s keynote speech at IFA in Berlin, the new model comes with a whopping 20.3-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor. The NX200 is the fifth model in the NX line-up of mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras. Key features of the new model include high speed capture (including 100ms Advanced Auto Focus, along with a bump up in megapixels from 14.6 to 20.3MP. The camera’s wide range ISO (100-12800, covering seven stops) gives life-like color and sharp details, even in dark environments or when capturing still images of moving objects. The NX200 has been redesigned with a smaller, sleeker all-metal body and a more significant hand grip. On the back there is a 3 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels.

Back in the begining of 2011, JVC announced a new hybrid still and video digital camera.At the IFA show in Berlin yesterday, JVC introduce a second version of this model, the GC-PX10. The JVC GC-PX10 is a hybrid digital camera that takes 12-megapixel stills and 1080p full HD video sampled at 36Mbps. The GC-PX10 also supports consecutive still shooting at 50 shots/second, as well as high-speed video shooting at 250 frames/second to yield slow motion footage at 1/5 normal speed. Image resolution in this mode is VGA (640 x 360), which is adequate for online use, and recording time can extend to approximately two hours. Its design emphasises stable shooting of both still and moving images, thus featuring an “L” shape similar to SLR cameras (but with much less bulk) to encourage two-handed holding.

At IFA 2011, Samsung’s just busted out a new model of 3D TV with a bigger screen and even more features — the 60D8000. The Samsung 60D8000 TV has a whole 5 inches bigger than the smaller D8000, but is just as striking, thanks to a super-slim silver bezel that measures a mere 1.5cm. In addition to Full HD, 3D, 2D/3D conversion and its online capabilities, it can also accommodate 60D8000 an external storage device and put a live broadcast pause, record a program or view the majority of multimedia files. The new LED TV also features an updated version of Samsung’s Smart Hub software, while there’s even a built-in recorder for Freeview+ if you connect up some storage. As widely expected, Amazon will indeed be launching an Android-based tablet device before the end of this year. According to TechCrunch, whose MG Siegler reports he got hold of the tabletThe device, it iscalled “Amazon Kindle,� also uses a back-lit, color screen that is “two-finger multi-touch,� . The Amazon Kindle is expected to launch at the end of November for $250. According to the site, the Amazon tablet bears a strong resemblance to RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook and it runs a highly customized pre-Honeycomb version of Google’s Android operating system. Other hardware specs include what may be a single-core processor, no camera, Wi-Fi-only, and around 6GB of internal storage. The explanation for the low amount of memory is that the new Kindle will put a heavy focus on Amazon services like Cloud Player and Instant Video. It also features deep integration with various Amazon services such as the Amazon Appstore and Amazon’s Cloud Player service.

Acer has introduced the Aspire S3 at its IFA press conference, an ultrabook that will start shipping this month with a price of $1134. The Acer Aspire S3 ultrabook features a 13.3 inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and it measures just 0.51 inches thick and will be available with a choice of Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors. There’s an aluminum / magnesium alloy chassis, with cooling designed to send heat away from the palm rest and trackpad. Acer claims that it has 1.5 second “instant on� from sleep, and 2.5 second “instant connect� to the internet, using special sauce Acer techniques. The S3 also will come with a choice of 240GB SSD or 320/500 GB HDD with embedded SSD for ultra-fast access, Dolby Home Theater v4 support, HDMI output, a 2-in-1 card reader, the integrated Acer Crystal Eye 1.3 megapixel camera and microphone, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.

The Lenovo A1 tablet was first spotted late July when an A1-07 prototype hit the FCC. Eurodroid reported that the US prices of the A1 have been announced, with the entry level model with 8GB of internal storage space planned to cost $199. This tablet will come in several different colors, has a rather simply yet lovely design to its chassis. The Lenovo IdeaPad A1 is a 7″ Android 2.3 affordable Android tablet. It will feature a Cortex A8 1.0 Ghz single-core processor, a 3 MP rear and 0.3 VGA front facing camera. Coming in at 11.9mm thin (0.46 inch), and weighing just 400g. Lenovo is using a magnesium alloy roll-cage internal frame design to keep the tablet strong, yet thin and light. The 7″ LED display will have a 1024 x 600 resolution similar to the Galaxy Tab 7 and offers a great visual experience. The A1 is fully decked out with all of Google’s Android services, including Market, Gmail, Maps, navigation, and more.

Medion is launching a new Android tablet called the Medion LifeTab and the tablet has been officially announced over at IFA 2011. The tablet packs some pretty strong technical specifications, including a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, a 5 MPx rear-facing camera and a 2 MPx front-facing camera. Its capacitive 10-inch multitouch display will offer a 1280×800 pixels resolution. Other features include movement and light sensors, 32GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, USB and HDMI connectivity with Wi-Fi only, GPS, 3G options and android 3.2 Honeycomb. The German tablet will feature integrated stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Mobile and a built-in microphone. Medion also loads up the tablet with a few extra apps including Documents To Go and LifeTab media software
