ZTE, a Chinese handset maker, showcased its latest 7-inch T98 Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet powered by Nvidia’s Tegra3 chipset at the China International Exhibition Center expo in Beijing. Jen-Hsun Huang as CEO of Nvidia sounded that the upcoming of Tegra 3 was promising tablets will be equipped with the new SoC. The tablet has pass through the US FCC for official FCC labels. The new ZTE T98 is going to be ZTE’s first Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet and the companies next 7-inch tablet (the most recent release was the ZTE Light Pro tablet). The T98 comes with 4,000 mAh battery and about 11.5mm thick. According to photo evidence the NVIDIA Tegra 3 powered ZTE T98 scores a 1956 in Quadrant and the CPU is listed as a 1.3GHz quad-core ARMv7 processor in the devices system info.
