Sony Japan has launched their latest Sony Walkmans, the S series (NW-S740/S740K/S640/S640K) which feature some of the most popular Walt Disney characters. There are three designs available – Mickey only, Minnie only and the couple. The music player looks funny, cute, cool and funky decorated. The bright colors make this series Walkman quite interesting and supports every youth style.
The Walkman players itself will be available in various models, each with 8 and 16GB versions and the price will range from 13,800 yen to 18,800 yen and is available at Sony Style in Japan. There are also two accessories up for grabs, which are a case ($18), and a Mickey phone stand ($29).

Olympus sells a series of pocket recorders in Japan under the name Voice-Trek. This voice tape deck will be proposed in Japan at around 15000 Yen.
The Voice-Track provides an 8GB of inner peep memory, that is sufficient to store up to 13-hour value of PCM (16bit/44.1kHz) WAV files. The tool additionally supports a VCVA mode, where anyone’s voice will automatically launch a recording mode.

Onda is about to bring a new portable media player VX595 to the market, with 1080 full HD support. The device features a touch screen of 4.3 inches (800 x 480), an HDMI port and a whole lot of video formats are also supported including RMVB, MKV(H.264), AVI, MOV, FLV, MPG, VOB and DAT. From the picture, PMP bears a very nice design, with no buttons on the front side, which makes it look extremely clean. Onda reported that it will ship this PMP soon. Unfortunately, No idea on pricing or availability as at press time.

The DoDoNa S-100 MP3 player is a cube with some old school iPod controls and some buttons on top. The latest in MyRacer’s Lisse series of portable media players is called the Lisse H10. The tiny player sports a 1280×720 TFT LCD screen with a resolution that’s comparable to some 13-inch netbooks, notes PMP Today.
The H10 has a 5-inch panel display with 1,280 x 720 resolution as well as HDMI output, and and microSD expansion slot. In the screen department there is a 4.3-inch LCD with a 800×480 resolution that is able to playback a video in 720p quality. Also it enables handle 30fps playback of RM/RMVB, FLV, AVI, WMV, and MPG files.So, it is the equal to anything else out on the market right now
