CTL had two 2go Classmate PC models, the convertible tablet NL3 and the more ‘classic’ laptop design E12. Classmate computers are designed for students and feature sturdy cases, built-in handles for carrying the device, and other education-focused hardware and software. Both models packs a 10.1-inch screen, with HD resolution and a resistive touchscreen in the NL3, a 1.6GHz Atom N2600 processor, and 1GB of RAM. Users can pair these with an SSD or hard drive offering up to 320GB of storage space, while the webcam and the Wi-Fi 802.11 support come as standard. They also have ruggedized chassis that can withstand drops from heights up to 70cm. Further, they come with USB, VGA and HDMI out, and a card reader. The NL3 convertible laptop can even be fitted with an internal 3G modem to add wireless broadband capabilities to the overall features list. Battery life is said to reach over 10 hours of typical use.
