According to Korean site etnews, Samsung will soon begin production of a new 7-inch version of the Super AMOLED display. The report claims that the display will be put into production in September with improved resolution of 1024×768. It was at the FPD-International 2010 that Samsung first showcased their maiden 7″ prototype that sports a WSVGA resolution (1024 x 600 pixelx). The high resolution display will using the same technology behind the gorgeous screen found in several of Samsungs smartphones. However, this 7 inch Super AMOLED display, however, has only one likely destination: tablets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab, to be exact, a new model of which we could see as soon as September.

Toshiba is planning to release their REGZA 32BC3 HDTV in the Japanese market in September 2011. The Regza 32BC3 will land on shelves in Japan this September for around ¥ 65,000 (about $830). While most televisions come your way at 1080p, or occasionally anymore, 720p, you’ll get the Toshiba Regza 32BC3 showing at something more like a computer monitor’s resolution of 1366 x 768. Moreover, Toshiba has made the REGZA 32BC3 kind of special by adding a Power Saving button on its remote, which is capable to reduce the TV’s brightness up to 75% without image quality loss or any other kind of image degradation. Apart from the standard 1366 × 768 resolution on its IPS panel that also sports a 1,100:1 contrast ratio, this new REGZA will also be equipped with a Digital TV Tuner and USB Recording features.

The New Dell Monitor LCD features an IPS (In Plane Switching) panel and has 24-inch size with LED-backlight monitor that delivers 1920 x 1200 native resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 8ms response time. Samsung together with their partner Cisco today announced the “zero customer first monitor in the world,” a seemingly conventional monitor that has the distinction of being fully powered and connected via an Ethernet cable. Called SyncMaster NC220. it is a 22″ Full HD capable LCD monitor with LED backlit (using new LED BLU technology) with conventional DVI, power and RJ-45 Ethernet connectors. UPOE targets enterprises of course and is supposed to reduce ‘IT burden’ (no need for updates or program installs on multiple machines) and allow for easier installation and more flexibility when configuring office space. The monitor can receive up to 60 watts of power, which is twice as much as existing power-over-Ethernet technologies, currently restricted to 30 watts.

Images leaked on Apple’s own servers have revealed that the company is set to unveil new Thunderbolt-equipped LED Cinema Displays. The images were identified via their URL as part number “MC914″ by MacRumors. That part number was previously and incorrectly claimed to be both a Mac Pro and a white MacBook. Leaked photos revealed that their new version is added with Thunderbolt ports. Thunderbolt is a new type of extremely high-speed ports and cables that can be used to transfer data just like USB today. Thunderbolt can also act as a video signal transfering technology and Apple plans to do just that with their new LED Cinema Display. The display appears essentially identical to the existing LED Cinema Display from the front, although Apple’s new promotional image displays a Lion desktop background rather than the Snow Leopard one found on the images for the current model.

LG has today released details of its latest glassess free 3D monitor in the form of the LG DX2000. The newest LG Cinema 3D display utilizes similar webcam-based eye-tracking technology as the latest glasses-free 3D gaming laptop, the Toshiba Qosmio F750, which is aimed at dealing with the common “sweet spot” 3D technology issue.
