According to Korean site etnews, Samsung will soon begin production of a new 7-inch version of the Super AMOLED display. The report claims that the display will be put into production in September with improved resolution of 1024×768. It was at the FPD-International 2010 that Samsung first showcased their maiden 7″ prototype that sports a WSVGA resolution (1024 x 600 pixelx). The high resolution display will using the same technology behind the gorgeous screen found in several of Samsungs smartphones. However, this 7 inch Super AMOLED display, however, has only one likely destination: tablets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab, to be exact, a new model of which we could see as soon as September.
