The Denon DNP-720AE Network Audio Player is equipped with a WLAN antenna, which allows it to communicate with your home network. When connected to the Internet, the device can stream music from online services like Napster and Last.fm. The sound tuning is based on Denon’s renowned “simple & straight” circuit design with minimum signal paths, to optimise performance. Strictly selected components have been used throughout, including a high quality 24-bit/192kHz digital-to-analogue audio converter. Sony has debuted its new RDP-X500iP speaker dock for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod. This is a premium product with Magnetic Fluid speakers that should deliver “higher sound pressure with less distortion than traditional speakers.” The device will sell for right under $300 with shipping set to start October 2. The iPhone dock is on the front of the device which enables power supply, battery charging, music/movie playback, and remote control when docked, and Sony alleges the dock is made to work without you having to remove the case on your iPhone or iPod. Further, Sony’s unique Clear Phase linear phase correction circuitry further reduces distortion and increases sound presence, making music sound crisp and clear. This docking stations has been improved over previous Sony models with dual passive radiators, an integrated subwoofer for deep robust bass, and Sony’s S-Master Digital Amplifier inside for more performance.

InFocus releases IN5312 and IN5314 projectors

InFocus has released new couple of projector on IN5300 line up, namely IN5312 and the IN534. The projectors are ideal for a variety of venues, such as large classrooms or conference rooms and houses of worship. The latest edition of IN5300 series projectors can connect to Mac systems and personal computers, whether running Microsoft’s Windows operating system or a version of Linux OS. the IN5312 and the IN5314 will offer up the same 720p projection at a 2000 : 1 contrast ratio. They both offer a set of different lenses in short, normal, and long throw. The difference between the two projectors is that the 5312 has 4,500 lumens of brightness and a 4:3 aspect ratio. The 5314 is a 16:10 aspect ratio projector for wide screens and has 4,000 lumens of brightness.

Epson today announced its new line of portable, combo projectors, the MegaPlex MG-850HD and MegaPlex MG-50. Epson MegaPlex Combo Projectors make it easy for consumers to watch movies, view presentations, share photos, or enjoy content saved on portable devices on a big screen. Both have a rear dock where the Apple gear sits to send the video out to a much larger screen. Additionslly, they come with two built-in 10W stereo speakers, so that they are ready to use anywhere – even outdoors. The MegaPlex MG-850HD and MegaPlex MG-50 use 3LCD technology inside. The projectors are also both Plug and Play systems and have HDMI and VGA inputs allowing them to be connected to computers, game consoles, and more. The MG-850HD offers a resolution of 720p and a maximum output brightness of 2,800 lumens, while the MG-50 features 540p resolution and 2,200 lumens of max output.

Sony announced their first home theater front projector capable of displaying 4K video.The shows VPL-VW1000ES 4K Home projector enables to watch movies, and other video content, at up to 8.8 megapixels (4096Ă—2160 resolution) with 2000 ANSI lumens of brightness. That’s courtesy of a new SXRD 4K panel which, Sony claims, is capable of a 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ration when paired with its Iris3 technology. At IFA, Sony has unveiled the latest high-end home cinema 3D model, the VPL-VW95ES. The Sony VPL-VW95ES 3D projector, a high-end device intended for home cinema enthusiasts also interested in 3D support. Successor to the VPL-VW90ES, which was announced last September, and was Sony’s first 3D home cinema projector, the VPL-VW95ES, according to Sony’s Tak Nakane, “Offers superb picture quality with high dynamic contrast ratio of 150,000:1, and a more real cinematic experience. It is a Full HD 3D-capable projector that uses HDMI 1.4 interface and is intended mostly for 3D movie lovers, although it can be used for stereoscopic 3D gaming as well with a game console such as the PS3 or any other compatible solution. The projector is equipped with Sony’s Advanced Iris 3 technology which includes a contrast enhancer to maximize the dynamic contrast ratio to up to 150,000:1, brightness of over 1,100 ANSI lumens and also supports 2D to 3D autoconversion. it is also expected to be available in October when probably we are also going to have more specifications about the device.

Hitachi has just unveiled tree new Networked and Wireless 3LCD Projectors, the CP-WX3014WN, CP-X3014WN and CP-X4014WN in the USA.
