Killzone 3 leaked: Snow, Jetpacks, and 3D

Posted by | Last Updated : 730 days ago

Gamepro scans have leaked in a GameSpot forum. The game is playable in 3-D, with the effect requiring the use of glasses (oh, and a 3-D-capable television). GamePro has confirmed the cover story to Joystiq.

That means that Killzone 3 is going to be a showpiece for Sony’s 3-D technology, and therefore we should probably expect to hear a lot about it at the company’s E3 presentation.Killzone 3 is said to include jetpacks that act in much the same as those found in Warhawk; requiring bursts of speed in mid-air. They also double up as a weapon, with machine guns on top. You’ll also see more of the Helghast culture, though the nuts and bolts of the shooting (jetpacks aside) are allegedly similar to Killzone 2.

Microsoft Bundles Xbox 360 With Final Fantasy XIII

Posted by | Last Updated : 830 days ago

A Microsoft retail training site may have leaked a Final Fantasy XIII hardware bundle for North America.
In addition to the console itself, the bundle is said to feature two controllers, a copy of Final Fantasy XIII, and the same 250 GB hard drive that was included with the limited edition Modern Warfare 2 360. The listing specifies black colored controllers and console casing, but the package is clearly “chill white.” The console depicted on the box also looks to be a plain, standard Xbox 360. No extra special FFXIII decorations or anything.
This package has not been formally announced by Square Enix or Microsoft so the contents are subject to change. The game launches March 9, 2010 so we’ll all probably find out if it will be available soon.
