Panasonic launches Lumix Phone P-05C with optical stabilization

Panasonic Japan has announced that it is about to start shipping the Panasonic Lumix Phone P-05C. The 13 megapixel handset is the world’s first to feature optical image stabilization, proudly carrying the MEGA O.I.S. branding right next to its lens. Available in white, black as well as magenta colors, a Lumix Phone P-05C is attack a Japanese NTT DoCoMo network today. According to the teaser, LUMIX Phone comes with integrated flash and 27mm fixed optics, equivalent to F2.8 maximum aperture. In addition, the phone is also capable of shooting Full HD video. The Panasonic Lumix P-05C using 3.3-inch screen, but we do not know exactly how much resolution screen.

Gigabyte T1125P – A 11.6-inch Convertible Laptop Is Up For Pre-Order

Gigabyte Technology has recently started selling of its latest convertible tablet, called the Gigabyte T1125P. This model will replace the now EOL’ed Gigabyte T1125N from last year. Except from some minor updates the device is almost similar to the Gigabyte T1125N. The new model uses a faster Nvidia Geforce 410M graphics and not Nvidia Geforce 310M which was there in the older one. The new Gigabyte T1125P-CF2 convertible tablet PC is currently available for pre-order at excaliberpc.com.

Panasonic to launch e-book/tablet hybrid in Japan

Panasonic has shown off an Android based eBook tablet at the e-Book expo in Tokyo. The Panasonic e-Book is a 7-inch tablet that powered by a dual-core processor. Its offer 1024 x 600 pixel resolution with a touchscreen display. The device will offer e-books through a store set up by Rakuten, the country’s biggest e-commerce company, with the initial line-up including a total of at least 10,000 titles. This demo device has a dual-core CPU, Wi-Fi, a camera (specs TBD), a microSDHC slot, and 16 apps pre-installed (a browser, mail client, Adobe reader, etc.) However, these are not the final specifications, which will be revealed closer to its actual release.

BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet Available in Indonesia on 16 July

Research In Motion (RIM) has just announced that the BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet will be available in Indonesia from 16th July 2011. The tablet PC will be delivered to the local market with WiFi connectivity capabilities and should land in three different flavors, based on the amount of internal memory, namely 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. The tablet PC was expected to become available all around the country via authorized retail stores and mobile operators. At 7”, the PlayBook is more portable than the best rival tablets, all of which are currently around 10”. The RIM device will include a 1GHz dual-core processor, 7” 1024×600 WSVGA capacitive LCD touch screen and the Blackberry Tablet OS. Dual cameras capable of recording full 1080p footage actually put the PlayBook slightly ahead of the iPad 2 in the imaging department.

The Toshiba Thrive tablet has a July 10 release date, but a quick online search shows that it’s already available and shipping from some online stores like Newegg and Amazon. The thrive has now become available in the US in three versions, with 8GB of built-in storage, for $430, with 16GB for $480, and with 32GB for $578. The tablet, powered by Nvidia’s 1GHz, dual-core Tegra 2 chip, has a 10.1-inch diagonal, high-res, multi-touch, 1280-by-800 LED display, a 2-megapixel front-facing webcam, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a replaceable battery.The back cover comes in five colors – Silver Sky, Blue Moon, Green Apple, Raspberry Fusion, and Lavender Bliss.

MSI’s Brazos-powered WindPad 110w tablet officially up for pre-order, ships August 1st

Today, MSI announced the release of its 10-inch WindPad 110W, the first mass market tablet based on AMD’s Z-Series Fusion platform of chips with integrated Radeon graphics. The MSI Windpad 110W has the 1280×800 screen and integrated mouse pointer, 32GB SSD, fully four gigs of DDR3 RAM, and Windows 7 Home Premium – A well balanced feature set for a mobile PC. The MSI WindPad 110w is backed up by the AMD Brazos processor, two full-size USB ports, a mini-HDMI port for access to those bigger screens. Front and rear 1.3MP cameras allow you to chat and take photos. Its battery life is estimated around six hours on a full charge, though your mileage may vary on that point.

Motorola LTE Tablet Hits The FCC, Could Be The XOOM 2

What looks to be the new Motorola XOOM LTE tablet has just passed through the FCC today. Known only by the FCC ID IHDP56LU2 won FCC approval for its WiFi, Bluetooth, CDMA and LTE capabilities. Earlier this year we heard a rumor that Motorola is planning to release a Tegra 3 tablet towards the end of this year. That was followed up in June by sighting of a “Motorola Xoom 2″ on an upcoming redesigned product page. This tablet device was spotted on the FCC’s site with the dimensions of 259mm x 166mm. In contrast, the original XOOM was 249.1mm x 167.mm – in short, this is probably the Motorola XOOM 2. The possibilities are endless. NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 processor is said to be in tablets by the end of this year. It may still launch with Tegra 2, though, or any other dual-core chipset.

Camangi is a Taiwanese company that manufactures tablets Android, this is backed by Mangrove 7 Tablet Android. They have annoucened that it will be shipping the Mangrove 7 and Android 3.1 tablet in Japan in late August.
