The Lenovo IdeaPad S110 netbook with the Intel Atom Cedar Trail processor has not been officially announced yet, however the Chinese manufacturer unveils its latest Cedar Trail netbook with a “leakedâ€� promotional video advertising the device. Lenovo is referring to this 10.1-inch netbook as a “mini notebook”, a title perhaps designed to distance the product from the maligned “netbook” category. The IdeaPad S110 will feature the recently released Intel Atom processor, a 10.1″ display, a 2-megapixel webcam, 1080p video playback support, integrated WiFi, a 98% full-sized keyboard and will ship in four colors.

The first tablet running Android 3 on Intel’s Medfield platform has been spotted out in the wild by AndroidCommunity. The site reports buying the developer prototype tablet from a tipster who “either didn’t know what they had or didn’t careâ€� because the person only charged $50. This 10.1″ slate is powered by Android 3.x Honeycomb and is running off the Intel Medfield Atom based SoC for mobile devices. Its Medfield dual-core processor is running at 1.6GHz, with graphics processing capabilities touted to beat the Tegra 2 and Qualcomm’s S3 1.5GHz dual-core processors.

The Razer Blade PC gaming notebook was supposed to be out by the end of the year. Razer announced this week that the Razer Blade 17-inch gaming laptop is delayed past the expected holiday deadline. The lack of a pre-order page on the website was the first clue that something was wrong. Now, a message sent via Facebook shows that, since the company decided to replace the HDD of the machine with an SSD, it failed to secure enough of those SSDs. Towards the end of the development of the laptop Razer decided to upgrade the 320GB hard drive included in the Blade laptop to a lovely sparkling 256Gb solid state drive. The Razer Blade is now expected to ship to US customers in mid- to late-January. Even better, though, the upgrade won’t cost you a cent. An SSD might normally raise the laptop price by $300 to $500, but Razer is keeping the price of the Blade at $2799.

Google Chairman Eric Schmidt has revealed that google could soon release its own tablet device within the next 6 months. He also promises that “we’ll see even more “brutal competitionâ€� between Apple and Google”. During the interview Schmidt also confirmed Google was working on a Siri competitor that would offer some of the same voice-controlled functionality as Siri does for the iPhone 4S. Exact details of the upcoming tablet were not revealed, and it’s unclear whether the slate will be specifically branded with Google’s Nexus nomenclature or be another manufacturer’s model that the search giant will champion.
