Posted by | Last Updated : 270 days ago

Vizio on Wednesday has added an important distinction, as the 8-inch Vizio Tablet becomes the first Android tablet to offer Hulu Plus. The $299 tablet has the ability to watch premium HULU Plus content, such as back episodes of 30 Rock, Modern Family, The X-Files, Arrested Development and Family Guy – as long as you pay the $7.99 per month subscription fee, of course. Though Hulu Plus is available on many platfoms –video game consoles, TVs, connected media players, set-top boxes, and iOS devices– it is only available on a dozen Android devices, and until today it was only on select Android smartphones. the 8-inch Vizio Tablet has been a week hit stores. Unlike the rivals, the 8-inch Vizio tablet runs Android 2.3 (a.k.a Gingerbread) instead of Honeycomb, which puts it closer in app compatibility to handsets than its tablet brethren.
