HTC Flyer Honeycomb Custom ROM – Coming soon

Posted by | Last Updated : 155 days ago

When the HTC Flyer first came out, it had a different HTC Sense user interface, running on an Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The first pictures have emerged online of the HTC Flyer running Honeycomb 3.2 and Sense 1.1 for Tablet. MoDaCo’s Paul O’Brien got a hold of a beta version of the update along with the “Sense 1.1 for Tablets” update and has publicly released the ROM for all to download and has also tossed up some screenshots of the new interface. According to Paul, this HTC classifies this ROM as “an early Beta,” something that HTC Flyer owners should take into consideration before deciding to flash it. Because of its “beta” status we do not recommend HTC Flyer users to flash the ROM unless they are developers. It’s important to add this won’t work with the HTC View 4G, which is Sprint’s version of the tablet.
