Best Buy announced recently that they will be the exclusive US retailers of the Nokia Booklet 3G netbook. The netbook will apparently be priced at $600 when it arrives at the electronics retailer, but possibly without subsidies from wireless providers. While heard that Nokia’s upcoming Booklet 3G netbook would sell for the lofty price of $800 in the US. Also, now an image from an inventory form screen capture shows US retailer ‘Best Buy’.
The 10.1-inch Booklet 3G will ship with Windows 7 preloaded on its 120GB hard drive, have a 1280×720 resolution screen and a 1.6GHz Atom CPU along with 1GB of RAM. There is a SIM card slot for data network access along with Wi-Fi. The picture also reveals that stock has been building since September 25th, giving merit to the thoughts that Nokia’s netbook launch will coincide with Windows 7 on October 22nd. It is claimed that the system’s standout feature is a very long 16-hour battery life.
