OCZ has released their fastest SSD to date, the Vertex Limited Edition. Based on a cutting-edge new architecture, OCZ’s Vertex LE is the epitome of innovation for power users seeking to integrate a new class of SSD in their Windows-based systems.The Limited version has higher performance than other SSDs in the Vertex family.
The drive has a read speed of up to 270MB/s and a write speed of up to 250MB/s.   The drives even reach 15,000 IOPS (4K random write), for an “excellent throughput and ultra-responsive performance.” The Vertex Limited Edition line boasts solid state drives with storage capacities of 100GB and 200GB. Built with SATA 3Gb/s, the Vertex LE Series easily integrates into today’s mobile and desktop platforms and features TRIM support¹ to optimize performance over the drive’s lifespan.
Pricing for the two SSDs (100GB – OCZSSD2-1VTXLE100G, 200GB – OCZSSD2-1VTXLE200G) has not yet been announced, but the Vertex LE will start shipping in the next few weeks. The LE will however only be sold for a limited time.

ASUS Republic of Gamers overclocked Radeon HD 5870 leaks

ASUS will soon be adding another product to their line of “Republic of Gamers” products. The new Radeon HD 5870 card, with serial name EAH5870 MATRIX, will feature high-end construction, with improved voltage regulators. The new GPU cooler that ASUS has thrown on there was previously used on their GeForce GTX 285 card. With the ATI Radeon HD 5870 overclocks will make your gaming graphics performance will improve.
ASUS has doubled the VRAM on the Radeon HD 5870 spec and includes 2GB. GPU will have a clock of 900MHz, while the memory will run at 1225MHz (memory, 4900 MHz effective). It draws power from two 8-pin PCI-Express connectors. Connectivity has DVI, DisplayPort and HDMI, and has a secure button to return to the factory settings for a stable configuration. According to Chinese site Zol the ASUS Republic of Gamers Radeon HD 5870 will be “available immediately”, . Likewise, nothing on pricing, but it’ll easily cost upwards of $400.

Corsair Flash Voyager GTR 128GB USB Flash Drive

Corsair recently updated its Voyager series with a new model boasting 128GB storage capacity.  It has manages to reach up to 34MB/s read and 28MB/s write speeds. These are visibly higher than the 32MB/s and 25.6MB/s speeds boasted by the device’s predecessor,  Corsair Flash Voyager GT.Another interesting thing about this drive is its storage capacity, with onboard 128gig.

AMP Launches 128GB 1.8-Inch SaberTooth ZX SSD

Active Media Products has just added a fresh 128GB capacity drive to the company’s SaberTooth ZX series of 1.8-inch PATA ZIF SSDs. It’ll certainly give you that extra boost when booting up or loading applications with sequential read speeds of up to 80MB/sec and sequential write speeds up to 38MB/sec. As for the physical size of this, it only measures a mere 70 x 54 x 5mm, namely the same dimension as 1.8-inch hard disk drives
