ASUS today introduced the ASUS P7F7-E WS SuperComputer motherboard. The new ASUS  MoBo maximizes transmission speeds by integrating the industry’s latest I/O technologies such as USB 3.0, SATA 6G storage interface, and IEEE 1394b FireWire standard. Moreover, It also uses NVIDIA® CUDA™ parallel computing architecture to support up to a whopping four NVIDIA® Tesla cards with Clarkdale Processors for intensive high-performance computing.

LG ultra slim X300 launching pretty much everywhere

Back in January at CES, the 17.5mm thick LG X300 netbook’s formally been announced. The ultra-thin LG X300 netbook from LG will be released in markets other than North America later in March, the electronics giant announced this weekend. With only 17.5mm thick and weighs 2 pounds, LG X300 makes it considerably smaller than the Z-series. It has a borderless touchpad and a reflective keyboard, and is rare among netbooks
The netbook is powered by a 2.0GHz Intel Menlow platform that packs up to 2GB of RAM, and even 128GB SSD for storage and performance in file access, running Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
The LG X300 packs multimedia features including a 1.3-megapixel webcam with a You-Cam viewer, and SRS TruSurround HD sound. And thanks to an embedded 3G modem chipset, users can easily get online via GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, or HSDPA networks.The LG X300 will be available in Asia, starting with this month, then in Middle East and South America, with pricing varying depending on the country.

The Rii Mini Wireless Keyboard has 69 LED-backlit keys, and what Brando claims is the “World’s First Touchpad”. The Rii Mini Wireless Keyboard is a very small QWERTY keyboard and allows you to use in darkened conditions.

This keyboard measures 151mm x 59mm x 13mm and weighing 103grams  and the integrated touch pad can be used horizontally or vertically. It works wirelessly via the 2.4GHz radio frequency, and comes with a laser pointer to boot. It also comes with a plain old USB to mini-USB cable, for when the built-in rechargeable lithium battery runs out of juice..

The battery is built-in and can keep the keyboard powered for about 1 months usage. You should be able to get it at the Brando website for a price of $92.00.

Western Digital SiliconEdge Blue SSD

Western Digital (WD) today announced its first consumer-oriented solid state drive (SSD) with the new WD SiliconEdge 2.5-inch SSD family. Targeted at consumer desktops and notebooks, the SiliconEdge Blue uses a new third-party storage controller that apparently isn’t available in any other SSD currently on the market.
These disks are available in capacities of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB, with read speeds of up to 250MB/s and write speeds of up to 170MB/s. The drives feature MLC flash, custom TRIM support, SATA II interface, 3-year warranty, and an impressive 130,000 hours testing in the Western Digital R&D labs.
The new SiliconEdge is already shipping and starts at $279 for a 64GB drive, with 128GB and 256GB models coming in at $529 and $999 each.

VTX3D Intros Custom-design Radeon HD 5830 Graphics Card

TUL concern VTX3D has come up with a new custom-designed graphics card based on the ATI Radeon HD 5830 GPU. It’s a stock-clocked card based on a custom design. The VTX3D VX5830 is only different from the products launched by the company’s competitors through its red PCB and equally red cooler
This new stock-clocked card integrates 1120 Stream Processors, a 256-bit memory interface, a core clock of 800MHz, a 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM set @ 4000MHz and a dual-slot cooler featuring four copper heatpipes. The card also supports all the latest technology including DirectX 11 and CrossFireX and has DVI, HDMI as well as DisplayPort outputs.
VTX3D has not revealed the price tag of its Radeon HD 5830 but it will likely hover around the $250 mark

Lenovo ThinkPads W701 and W701ds mobile workstations launched

Lenovo is officially launched two large-sized notebook, which are positioned as portable workstations. The models are called ThinkPad W701 and W701ds, built on CPU performance Intel Core i7-820QM and Core i7-920 Extreme. Both displays have been upgraded to 100 percent of the NTSC color gamut. The W701ds, as we already knew, comes with secondary 10.6-inch 1280Ă—800 screen.
The Lenovo ThinkPad W701 and W701ds comes with Intel Core i7 series processor, NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800 and 3800 Series graphics, and a 17-inch 1920Ă—1200 Full HD LCD display. They both also offer up to 16GB of DDR3 memory,5 USB ports (one of which will be USB 3.0), an eSATA/USB 2.0 combo port, HDD (up to 500GB) and SSD (up to 256GB) options with RAID 0,1 support, a 9-cell battery, and other odds and ends
The ThinkPad W701 and W701ds the only mobile workstation to include optional built-in Wacom digitizer and pen, and the only 17-inch mobile workstation to have optional built-in color calibrator. The ThinkPad W701 and W701ds are priced at $2,199 and $3,799 respectively.

Belkin launches first USB 3.0 devices

Belkin has expanded its product lineup with several peripherals that support the new USB 3.0 standard. The products, including a PCIe Add-In Card, ExpressCard, and Premium A-B and Micro-B Cables. USB 3.0 is specified to transfer at five gigabits per second, or 10 times faster than USB 2.0*.

There’s the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 PCIe Add-In Card for $80, the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ExpressCard for $80, and four different cables: a 4-foot A-B cable for $40, an 8-foot A-B cable for $50, a 4-foot Micro-B cable for $40, and an 8-foot Micro-B cable for $50.

Seagate Ships 2TB Constellation ES 6Gb/s SAS Enterprise Hard Drive

Seagate is now shipping its industry’s first 2TB enterprise-class drives featuring 6Gb SAS, dubbed Seagate Constellation ES 3.5-inch 2TB SAS Enterprise Hard Drive. The drive operates at 7200 rpm and the power of choice, power and cooling technology and optimized for high-quality Self-Government Drive Encryption (SED) TCG-compliant/AES-128 option for safety.
The drive boasts models with capacities of 500GB, 1TB and 2TB. These devices enable a data density of up to 76TB per square foot. The storage units can operate on both the 6Gbps SAS or SATA 3Gbps interfaces, have 16MB of buffer memory (or 64MB for the SATA model), run at 7200 RPM and have an MTBF (mean time before failure) of 1.2 million hours. The drives also feature the PowerChoice optimized power and cooling technology and a dual processor. This last component enables transfer rates of up to 150MB/s.

SANDISK SHIPS ITS HIGHEST CAPACITY SD CARD EVER

SanDisk has released its first SDXC (Extended capacity) memory card in 64GB capacity.
SDXC cards are based on the new SD 3.0 specification, which makes it possible to manufacture cards with storage capacity up to 2 terabytes (TB)3. Class 4 speed rating can transfer data at up to 15MB per second.
Moreover, the SDXC card supports exFAT file structure which helps consumers record long-duration HD videos at 9Mbps.
Obviously you’ll need an SD 3.0 compliant camera to slot the Ultra SDXC into, and right now they’re comparatively rare. Still, Canon has already showcased, at CES 2010, a number of new VIXIA cam recorders and PowerShot cameras that are compatible with such storage solutions.
