Samsung revealed its new Wi-Fi-enabled refrigerator in South Korea. It is not like common refrigerator as it features a 10-inch touchscreen display which can be used as a digital photo frame, WiFi connectivity and is compatible with DLNA devices. Another interesting product is the luxuriously designed refrigerator by an Italian jewelry designer, Massimo Zucchi, the luxurious refrigerator is themed with water and ice.
Samsung says the screen can be used to take notes, has Google Calendar support, can show current weather conditions, shows more than 500 different kinds of food with their nutritional content and news from the internet. In addition, the display can receive and send images to-and-from mobile phone.
While no expected ship dates were provided for the States, the Zipel e-diary refrigerator will cost around $2170 USD.
