Olympus has just announced the launch of its new Olympus SZ-31MR iHS camera. Packing the same 16-megapixel backlit sensor as its predecessor, as well as an identical 24x (25-600mm) optical zoom, the SZ-31MR also has a new image processor – the dual engine TruePic V. It gives it better low-light performance on top of improving camera speed and image processing. Amongst other traits, the device is packing a 3-inch (920,000-dot) LCD, 6400 ISO and 1080p video capture at 30fps. Sprint’s ZTE Optik is going to be coming with some pretty impressive specifications considering the price and its specification. You’ll be able to get a ZTE Optik for $99.99 with a two-year service agreement. If you want to get one sans contract, you’ll have to shell out $349.99. The Optik rocks a 7 inch display with a 1280 x 800 resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, a full 1GB of RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, and 16GB of storage, GPS, Bluetooth and a 4,000 mAh battery. Sadly, the Optik only supports CDMA or Wi-Fi connections, so it won’t be able to take advantage of Sprint’s current 4G WiMAX network or its upcoming 4G LTE network.

Previously, the PS Vita was available in three different packages: The wifi model, the 3G model, and the first edition bundle.
