Sony introduce two more product on IFA 2010 – Handycam DCR-SX15E and Handycam DCR-SR15E. The two Handicams have a 2.7-inch LCD, SteadyShot, Face Detection and a video light, together with a 50x optical zoom. They are also really light and easy to carry.
The Auto mode also let user switch the video light on, whenever natural light levels run low. What makes the difference between the two would be the Handycam DCR-SX15E running on either a Memory Stick or SD memory card since it lacks any form of internal memory (sad), while the Handycam DCR-SR15E lets you record up to 61 hours of Standard Definition video on its 80GB built-in hard drive
Menus and settings are adjusted via a thumb-operated joystick next to the flip-out 6.7cm (2.7”) Clear Photo LCD. A conveniently-placed button switches on the built-in video light to illuminate indoor get-togethers, parties or night-time scenes.
Both the Handycam DCR-SX15E and the Handycam DCR-SR15E will be available from October 2010. unfortunately, there is no words on pricing at this time.
