Huawei unveils the E585 portable 3G router, a new 3G WiFi sharepoint device. Huawei’s E585 has its own monochrome OLED display that shows both the battery life and connection as well as the amount of data used.
There’s also a one-button startup, the ability to simultaneously charge the E585 while using it to share a connection, and a microSD card slot which we’re hoping can be accessed by all WiFi clients this time around. This router can be configured for Linux and Mac, as well as Windows. Expect this baby to go on sale in July for around $74.
