MSI has announced its new GX640 gaming notebook is now available to purchase. The GX640 will set you back $1,099, and comes with a three-year warranty. It has features quite a few goodies that will make any PC gamer out there want to take a second look.
The MSI GX640 is a 15.4-inch LCD screen with 1680×1050 resolution notebook completely centered on PC gaming. It features Intel’s new Core i5 processor, which can improve the battery life of the notebook by up to 15%. The notebook also promotes Intel’s Turbo Boost technology, designed to increase the overall performance of the machine up to 30%, making sure that your titles run as smoothly as possible. Also inside you’ll find 4 GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive at 7200 rpm, a 9-cell battery, Bluetooth connectivity and Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Additionally, there’s an ATI Radeon HD5850 graphics card with 1 GB DDR5. And the GPU inside the GX640 rocks DirectX 11 graphics support, which means that as time progresses and new games come out, your new new notebook will be able to show them off
