Panasonic Corp will launch a massage chair on April 21 featuring a built-in ceramic heater to help relieve fatigue. Special “balls” are used to heat up your back, waist, shoulders and neck area to up to 40C. MOreover. It features a pair of airbags that alternately expand and contract to massage the muscles of the pelvis, and an improved mechanism to stretch the area around the shoulder blades.
You’ll be able to choose from 6 different massage sessions, and be able to do that via a lazy man’s favorite tool – a remote control. The Panasonic be available in two colors – black and white. The chair will retail for around 400,000 yen. Panasonic plans to manufacture 2,000 units a month and will target marketing at middle-aged consumers.
