Microsoft apparently continues to work on its Courier project as it develops this e-book reader and digital journal. The Microsoft Courier is “digital journal” that is under one inch think, under half a kg in weight and will just be the size of a large index card (or a moleskin notebook, for that matter) when folded up.
It is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chipset with the same OS – presumably meaning Windows CE 6 based – as the Zune HD, Pink and Windows Mobile 7.
It will come with a web browser, e-mail software, an address book, to-do list and calendar, and will function as a mobile organizer. Other Courier features might include a built-in camera and a headset jack. A shipping time frame of “Q3/Q4″ was offered, but no word yet on pricing.
