Samsung has launched two new pocket camcorders at PMA 2010, called Samsung HMX-U15 and Samsung HMX-U20. It is an update of HMX-U10 camcorder. Both shoot 1080p video and feature time lapse recording, but bumping up to the U20 gets you 3x optical zoom.
The HMX-U20 features 1920×1080 full HD resolution video (30p / H.264), a built-in swing-out style USB connection, 3x optical zoom, 1/2.3 inch CMOS sensor, 10-megapixel digital still image capture, Hyper Digital Image Stabilization, time lapse recording, Samsung’s play edit sharing program, called intelli studio, and a one-touch “upload� button.
Samsung HMX-U15 camcorder has feature 14 megapixel still images but lack of zoom feature. Samsung HMX-U20 comes with 3x optical zoom and 10 megapixels still images
The Samsung HMX-U20 and HMX-U15 will be available in Black, Silver, Blue and Red in Spring 2010 for $249.99 and $229.99 respectively.
