Toshiba has given an update to their enterprise workstation notebook, the Tecra A11 which brings 15.6-inch widescreen display with LED backlight. This $880 is powered Intel Core i3-330M/i5-430M/i5-520M processor, 2/3/4GB of DDR3 memory at 166 MHz, a 250/320GB hard drive (7200 rpm), and an integrated video card or nVidia NVS 2100M discrete graphics card.
Toshiba has also thrown in a DVD burner, and a Mini DisplayPort.
The keyboard features Toshiba’s EasyGuard technology, which protects your notebook keyboard against spilled beverages and drops. The Toshiba Tecra A11 notebook has a DVD writer, an eSATA connector and a USB port with the ability to charge peripheral devices, even when the laptop is in sleep mode.
