Asus, Taiwan-based, jumping aboard the e-reader train by releasing a new e-book reader called Asus DR-570.
This e-book reader has brings a 9-inch gray-and-gray touchscreen display with 1024×768 resolution, a 2GB/4GB of internal memory, and an SD memory card slot. Moreover, It is equipped with an USB connector, Wi-Fi and HSDPA connectivity, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, and optionally WiMAX module.
Asus’ device is also said to weight under 200 grams, be 8.8mm thick and feature 512MB of SDRAM memory, and text-to-speech software. The Asus DR-570 ebook reader provide 1530mAh battery which up to 122-hours to use. It’s support ePub, PDF, TXT, MP3, MP4 and AVI files and playback Flash videos
