The LaVie M is not a new product, but La Vie M Series, 13.3 Notebooks now are proposed in two different flavors. It is now getting a CPU update and comes in two versions: The high-end modeland the low-end model.

The LaVie M  in a higher-end has configuration of  a 1.40 GHz Core 2 Duo SU9400. The rest of the configuration, which is set to start selling next week, includes a 13.3-inch (1366×768) screen, 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, GMA 4500 integrated graphics, an SD card reader, WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, and a battery enabling up to 4.6 hours of operation. The machine will works under the Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. The ultra-thin will also come pre-loaded with Office personal 2007.  Price: 130 000 Yens, 975€

The LM530/WH is the  low-end model,which is equipped with an Intel Celeron SU2300 (1.20GHz) CPU, will feature only 2GB of RAM instead of the 4GB, and comes without Office Personal 2007. 110 000 Yens (825€)
