MSI has announced the launch of new range of X-Slim notebook, the MSI X420. The new laptop combines Intel’s increasingly popular CULV platform with a discrete graphics solution from ATI, providing end-users with more choices in terms of performance and design. It is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor together with ATI’s Mobility Radeon HD5430 3D external display adapter

MSI has also included their ECO Engine energy-saving technology. You can choose among the five power management modes – video game, movie, presentation, word-processing, and Turbo Battery – which will automatically adjust display brightness, power switch, hibernation settings, processor performance and other settings. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and availability details at this time.
