Lenovo Launches ThinkCentre A63 Desktop

Lenovo have added to their desktop computer collection with the new Lenovo ThinkCentre A63, an essential desk side companion for small-to-medium businesses (SMB). According to the company, the new desktop combines powerful productivity features such as Lenovo’s Enhanced Experience for Windows 7 to improve boot-up time and a choice of the latest AMD Sempron processors, AMD Athlon II processors and AMD Phenom II processors.

Being a business machine, you would definitely have a bunch of other business tools that need to be connected to this constantly, ranging from mobile phones to business card scanners and the like. The A63 uses the aforementioned 45nm AMD chips to enable energy efficient multitasking while high-end DirectX 10 graphics provide 3D applications support for vertical industries such as engineering, graphic design and film production. An optional high-resolution webcam and Skype may enable VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and the system’s support for dual independent displays can expand the working area, making it suited for market analysts and entry engineers. The A63 also features: support for dual independent displays; up to a 500GB hard disk drive and up to 1333MHz DDR3 memory; eight USB ports

The ThinkCentre A63 also includes a variety of ThinkVantage Technologies : , such as Rescue and Recovery to help recover and restore files, and Power Manager : to easily manage and remotely control a PC’s energy usage even when it is turned off.
The ThinkCentre A63starts at $329 and will be available in mid-January, the company said.
