Acer Aspire One 532h Hops On the Pine Trail Processor

Acer have announced their latest netbook, the Aspire One AO532h, and  it’s based on Intel’s new Pine Trail processor. The 532h gets the slightly faster 1.66GHz N450 but is most notable for its increase in battery life.  Acer claims that  it can run for up to 10 hours on the high-density 5,600mAh 6-cell battery (or 8 hours on the regular, 4,400mAh pack).

The specs of the 532h are nothing that will change the world. A 10.1-inch display sitting on top of a Intel N450 processor, Intel GMA 3150 graphics. Windows 7 is running the show. Acer now says reaches $300 even while the system is new. At that cost, the 532h supplies the familiar 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi.
The Aspire One AO532h will be available in blue, red, and silver cases. The netbooks are barely an inch tall and weigh just 2.76 pounds, so they’re reasonably portable
