LG have released another netbook, a successor to the LGX120, called the LGX130. the LG X130, with 10 inch screen and will be sold in several countries for a price $632 respectively.
Along with the 1024Ă—600 LED-backlight display, the 3.2 pound LGX130 features the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB hard drive, and a 9-cell battery. LG’s netbook runs Windows XP Home OS and Smart On instant-on operating system that provides quick access to basic functions, such as web browsing or e-mail. It also features an impressive 9 cell to keep you going. Regarding Internet and networking, the X130 comes standard with 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, and Ethernet LAN. It optionally supports built-in 3G connectivity. There are also a 1.3MP web camera, stereo speakers, three USB ports, a 4-in-1 media card slot, and a VGA output. You can choose from three colors – black, white and pink.

i have got a complaint regarding standby battery time of LG X130 MOdel net book. i purchased LG X130 net book from qatar from CAARREFOUR MAFHYPER MARKETS QATAR vide tranction no 1/1 2790210155178 ( 902 1013 ) DATED 1 DEC 2009 I PURCHASED THIS NET BOOK ON THE ASSURANCE BY THE DEALER THAT IT HAS 9 CELL 12 HOURS STANDBY BATTERY.BUT ON ACTUAL USE I FOUND IT IS NOT GIVING MORE THAN 6 HOURS OPERATING TIME IN STAND BY MODE. I WANT TO KNOW WHY THIS MISLEADING QUOTING OF SPECIFICATION.THE SAME STANDBY TIME I FIND FROM THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE SAID MODEL DISPLAYED ON VARIOUS WEB SITES..
