LOOQS comes up with latest MeeFrame MF801W WiFi Digital Frame. The company’s line-up includes a media storage device – the MeeBox NAS – and a version that integrates a wireless access point – the MeeBox Router – each of which can stream content to the touchscreen MeeFrame. You can also acquire most recent news update with a RSS reader, access LOOQS’ MeeChannel online portal, access to Internet radio
and make out weather forecast from the internet.
This portable frame boasts an 8-inch 800 x 600 touchscreen display, a 1GB of internal memory, an SD card slot, an MP3 player, an internet radio, stereo 2W speakers, a USB 2.0 Host port, a miniUSB port, a 3.5mm headset jack and supports for WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity.
LOOQS hopes to show off the MeeFrame at CES in January 2010, in addition a SlingCatcher-style streaming media receiver in the works called the MeeCeiver. No word on pricing.
