The Fuchiview rolled out an new projector PPP01 which is touted as the world’s first pico projector that uses Alkaline AA batteries instead of rechargeable cells. This should be more convenient for the users, so when the gadget runs out of power, you can simply pick up AA batteries from any grocery stores nearby.
The dimensions of the portable device are just 11.5cm x 6cm x 2.6cm, enabling users to carry it easily. the pocket size projector adopts the 3M Color Sequential projection engine to produce 10 – 12 ANSI lumens, 260:1 contrast ratio and a maximum of 640 x 480 pixels resolution.The display formats supported include JEPG/ BMP, AVI / MOV / DivX / XviD and 3GP / MP4.The Fuchiview PPP01 also has a built-in 1GB internal memory (upgradable via an SD card slot), a mini USB port for data transfer, and up to 6-hours of battery life. The purchase package also includes a 5V AC adapter, an AV cable, a mini tripod, a pouch, a USB 2.0 cable, and a remote controller.
It’ll be available as OEM/ODM or sold directly by FuchiView for a price tag around $400.
