iBuyPower Chimera 2 Gaming PC

iBuyPower has released their latest Chimera 2 gaming PC series in order to celebrate their 10th anniversary.  In total, there are five models, three Intel systems – Chimera 2-E, Chimera 2-F and Killer Chimera 2-F; and two AMD systems – Chimera 2-Q and Killer Chimera 2-Q. All of them have the Inferno 2 Gaming Tower Case with Flame painting. All models feature either Intel Core i5, Intel Core i7, or AMD Phenom II x4 processor, either ATI or nVidia graphics card, and support up to 16 to 24 GB of DDR3 memory. There are various graphics cards offered, including NVIDIA’s GeForce GTS 250, ATI’s Radeon HD 5750 and 5770, and dual Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce GTX 275 boards

All these base models have 750GB hard drive (except the Chimera 2-Q with 500GB) and a 22X DVD SuperMulti burner. Both Killer models comes with Killer Xeno Pro network card.

All variations of the Chimera 2 run on Windows 7 Home Premium, with prices starting at $999 for a 2.8GHz Phenom II, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive and GeForce GTS 250 video. Configurations top out at $1,899 for the Core i7 edition with 6GB of RAM, a 750GB hard drive and the dual GeForce GTX 275 cards.
