iBuyPower has launched its first Core i7 Notebook, the iBuyPower Battalion 101W870CU. Starting at $2,114, the W870CU offers gamers three Core i7 CPUs to choose from.  The  Battalion 101 W870CU gaming notebook based on an Intel Core i7 processor.
Inside the hefty chassis there’s a 17.3-inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 LCD, up to 8GB of RAM and a choice of Core i7-720QM, i7-820QM or i7-920XM processors. Graphics are courtesy of NVIDIA’s GTX280 with 1GB of DDR3 memory.

Memory is 2GB of DDR3 RAM standard with the option to increase it to 8GB.  Hard drives range from 250GB up to 500GB or SSDs which from 64GB up to 256GB. There’s also an optional Blu-ray drive, 7-in-1 card reader, 3D surround sound, 802.11 a/g/n WiFi and LAN.
Gamers looking for a slightly larger display can go with the similar Battalion 101 M980NU and its 18.4-inch Full HD display, starting at $2505.
