LG has announced a new series of external HDDs for the South Korean market, the XD5 Mini.The LG XD5 Mini External hard drives feature 2.5 inch hard drives, the drives measure just 13mm thick and come in a range of colors and sizes. it is intended to be used with Netbooks
LG XD5 Mini hard drive is support data transfer interface of SATA II. The LG XD5 Mini external HDD includes two models: the first has a capacity of 320GB and the second has 500GB of capacities.
Specifically for use with the Netbooks this 2.5 drive is available in sizes from 320 GB and 500 GB and supports the SATA II interface for a faster, more efficient data transfer.
The LG XD5 Mini External Hard Drives will be available in Korea initially, the 320GB model will retail for about $86 whilst the 500GB model will retail for $120.
