Creative announces that it will be making a eReader-like device called a MediaBook. Apparently, during Creative’s Annual General Meeting, Creative announced its plan. Dubbed the MediaBook, Creative’s eBook reader might be based on the Zii platform and it’s said to come with some very impressive features like a color touchscreen display ready to let you read all the eBooks you want and support for videos and pictures. There’s no word of what it’ll look like, but it’ll be a large touchscreen of some sort.

The Zii based MediaBook packs a touchscreen, a SD memory card slot, text-to-speech function and will also have high-speed internet to offer you a multimedia-experience. So you’ll be able to access Facebook or Twitter, view pictures or watch movies on its large touchscreen.
