Allcam has released 2-in-1 CP1 Projector. The new Projector is also a handheld computer that uses the projector as the display screen. It has resolution of VGA (640 x 480 pixels), a 10 Lumens White LED lightsource brightness. The only connections available are dual mini USB connections; one for a host and another to connect to the main PC. To control the computer, Allcam has included a mouse touch pad and buttons on top instead of the keypad that is typically found on pico projectors.
Allcam CP1 is boasts 64MB of internal memory, built-in speakers, and its battery is provides up to 4 hours of operations. The Allcam CP1 pocket computer has dimensions 138.5 x 58.5 x 25.0mm (5.33″ x 2.3″ x 0.99″) and weight 67g.
The Allcam CP1 Handheld Computer/Pico Projector 2-in-1 plays audio/video/photo files supported by standard Windows Media Player. There’s also an optional WiFi adapter for web surfing, Skype, etc. WinCE powered pocket PC runs/plays all Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word, Excel files. Allcam has released the CP1 through Amazon for a retail price of £194 ($288).
