Eizo has announced the European launch of a new 23-inch screen, the FlexScan EV2313W. The monitor is part of the energy-efficient monitors of the company and has a TN LCD Panel. This new display consumes just 16W during normal operation but will go down to less than 0.9W under power save mode. The FlexScan EV2313W is also capable of detecting the presence of a user, and automatically switches to standby mode when no one is detected for 40 seconds. Just then appear before the screen for one of its kind before. This 23-inch widescreen monitor provides a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 4ms GTG response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness. It also comes with a 0.35W speaker and several connectivity ports including D-Sub, DVI and DisplayPower.
The FlexScan EV2313W is now shipping in Europe in a box made out of 100% recycled material, and has a recommended price tag of 450 Euro.
