NEC Preps New LaVie M Ultra-Thin Laptop

NEC has presented yet another unit that goes into the notebook category, it is the LaVie M.The netbook has a new 13.3-inch machine that can be easily carried around and can deliver the performance of a CULV platform. NEC LaVie M laptop is used Intel Celeron SU2300 ultra low power consumption (CULV) processor with runs at a clock frequency of 1.2GHz. Maximum value of thermal energy dissipation (TDP) is 10 watts. It uses Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
The technical specifications of the LaVie M aren’t too powerful, but there is one detail that is above the average.  The Netbook comes with 2GB or 4GB of RAM. Boasting a 13.3-inch display with a 1366 x 768 resolution, the new ultraportable laptop can provide its users with a large capacity 320GB hard drive and a battery life of 8.5 hours, according to available details.The thickness of the LaVie M is about 27 mm and weighs is from 1.6 to 1.8 kg depending on configuration.LaVie M can be purchased in 3 different colors with Red, White and Black. There’s no word on the pricing of the new system, but users in Japan should be able to purchase one sometime in early November
