October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A time when electronics firms start pushing their pink colored gadgets onto consumers in an attempt to turn a profit and give some of that money back to Breast Cancer Programs. Sony’s announced it will support Breast Cancer Awareness month by outing two new bundles — and both of them are super pink.
The pink products include a special pink VAIO W Series Mini Notebook bundle. The netbook has a 10.1-inch screen, N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, and 160GB of storage. Sony is showing its support by donating $110,000 in conjunction with sales made in October from the Reader Pocket Edition bundle in rose, and the pink VAIO W Series Mini Notebook bundle. The bundle includes a pink mouse, pink case for the netbook, and a two-tone pink netbook.
The Sony Reader is available now for pre-order, and will be available around October 7 for $199.99. The VAIO VPC-W111XX/PC is available now for $499.99.
