The USB 3.0 craze is catching up pretty fast. Earlier Freecom revealed its external hard drive that supports USB 3.0 connectivity. Now, Buffalo has joined the league with the introduction of the DriveStation HD-HXU3. The HD-HXU3 is an external hard drive that supports USB 3.0. It is also said to incorporate the ability to instantly backup important data.
Coming in a slick, black glossy design, the drive provides transfer speeds of up to 125MB/s. Buffalo DriveStation HD-HXU3 External Hard Drive is made on the basis of 3.5-inch hard drive, it will be offered in three versions in capacity of 1TB, 1.5TB, and 2TB.
The DriveStation HD-HXU3 gives users the ability to quickly back up important data and share office work, digital photos, music and movies from one central location. The Buffalo DriveStation HD-HXU3 and USB controller will be available in Europe, Middle East and Africa during Q409.
