The LaCie Sound2 Speakers was design by Neil Poulton and was engineered in collaboration with loudspeaker manufacturer Cabasse. The LaCie Sound2 speakers comes equipped with a Class D Digital Amplifier, a magnetic shielding, a bass reflex system. In terms of specifics, the Sound2 offers 30W of Cabasse-tuned sound, hooking up to your PC and Mac via the built-in USB cable  none requiring any drivers to be installed. Additionally, users can use the line-in connection to experience the same high-quality sound from audio/video devices like iPods and portable multimedia players.
